• Unless you are required to be on blood-thinning medications by your physician, please avoid blood-thinning medications/supplements 14 days prior to your treatment. Examples of blood-thinning medications/supplements include fish oil, Vitamin E, ginkgo biloba, St. John’s Wort, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications such as Motrin, Ibuprofen, and Advil. This decreases your chances of bruising.
• Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your treatment to decrease the chances of bruising.

• Severe pain, dusky/blotchy/pale appearance to the skin anywhere in the face regardless of where you received your injection.
• Pain should be improving over time. If pain is worsening, please call the clinic.
• Swelling three times greater than your baseline within 12-24 hours post-treatment.
